A St. Louis couple aimed weapons at a crowd of protesters passing by their home on Sunday night.

The husband carried an assault-style semi-automatic rifle, while the wife carried a small handgun that she pointed towards the crowd.

A video of the couple released by ABC News was later retweeted by President Trump.

The protesters were on their way to the home of St. Louis Mayor Krewson, who is facing calls to resign after releasing names and addresses of residents who called for defunding the police.

Did this couple act out of line, or were they within their rights to protect their home?  Are protests an effective method of creating change?
