Tomorrow, Saturday, April 18th from 10A to 2P, the Black Urban Gardeners and Farmers of Pittsburgh CO-OP and Allies will host the Social Distance Gardening Workdays. This will take place at 7014 Monticello Street in Homewood. Email blackfarmerscoop@gmail.com for more information!


Sunday Night at the Oldies returns for ONE NIGHT ONLY! My dad, Sly Jock will step out of retirement to DJ a 2 hour set, LIVE on IG and Facebook from 6P to 8P this Sunday night! He’ll take you back to his Sunday night show back in the original WAMO days! This Sunday, pay homage to a legend, SLY JOCK! (tips will be accepted)


Monday, April 20th, Join the COUCHPARTY with VEEEM Pittsburgh and When We All Vote! This will be a virtual CALL TO ACTION with former First Lady, Michelle Obama Monday, April 20th at 7:15 PM! Find VEEEM Pittsburgh and When We All Vote on social media for link info to register.


Tuesday, April 21st, This Generation Connect presents The Open Table Grab & Go Teen Edition! They will be distributing free meals to teens ages 12-17. Pick up ONLY between 5P to 7P. There will be an online registration link (see flyer).


Also on Tuesday, State Representative Jake Wheatley will be hosting a virtual town hall meeting at 5:30PM to address the community’s concerns related to the current COVID 19 pandemic. This will give you the opportunity to ask questions and receive vital information on the pandemic, plus get updates on resources and programs to help you during this time. There is an online link to register.
