What are you doing this weekend? Find out what's good in your hood with the Pretty Kitty On Ya Radio!
Hey Pittsburgh! It’s Ki Ki Brown, Pretty Kitty On Ya Radio, here to tell you about a few virtual events happening in your area! Let’s find out what’s good in your hood:
Nothing says weekend fun like going to the farmer’s market! While there are plenty of farmers market shopping going on around the city, this weekend, let’s head downtown! The Market Square Farmers Market will be moving to a new location(temporarily) near the Convention Center to facilitate increased social distancing and pedestrian access while providing access to locally-grown produce and goods.
On Sundays, from 9A to 1P, the rain or shine market will continue to offer regionally-grown produce, organic products, and small-batch foods from approximately 20 vendors each week.
Admission to the market is FREE with limited FREE PARKING with support from The Buncher Company and ALCO Parking.
In place of traditional Memorial Day commemorations, Remembering Together Pittsburgh invites all Pittsburgh-area communities, organizations, businesses, and individuals to join together in a region-wide virtual event on Monday, May 25, from 10:00am to 12:00pm, at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum. The event will honor those who died in service to our country while also highlighting the sacrifices of our local neighborhoods and municipalities.
