Here are a few events happening in your area this weekend:


Westinghouse HS Alumni 2nd annual Bulldog Fish Fry

This is an outdoor event, social distancing will be practiced. We also have Bulldog gear for purchase including 2019 game jersey’s.

All proceeds will go to the Westinghouse Football Team! Donations will be accepted for those who don’t feel safe enough to come support at the Fish Fry.

The Youth Enrichment Association, Incorporated will be hosting their Annual School Supply Drive now through August 21st at various locations.

They partnered with various sites around the region to collect school supplies for the deserving students. Teaching and learning will be a challenge for everyone this upcoming school year, but the organizers wanted to do their part to assure students will be equipped with the necessary supplies they’ll need to succeed.

Join Fawn Walker Montgomery and the Black Lives matters SWPA chapter, the Take Action Mon Valley group and Pittsburgh Feminists for Intersectionality for a Youth for Black Lives Rally. This event will take place at 5 PM, Saturday in Homestead at Frick Park.


Join Farmers to Families for another food distribution event happening on Saturday from 10A to 12 PM in the Hill District. This is a drive up, walk up, and no contact pick up event to provide fresh produce and dairy boxes for those who need it.
