If you’re a parent or caretaker who received WIC or cash assistance, join in on the discussion about the challenges in shopping for healthy, affordable food in the Homewood area. Meet at the East End Food Co-Op, 7516 Meade St. in Homewood at 1 PM.


The 23rd Annual Steel City Step (Feb 15) show returns at Soldiers & Sailors Auditorium in Oakland this Saturday. Come through & see how your favorite Greek organizations represent their principals in amazing step routines! Help support their efforts and hard work in community service! This is a fundraising event! I’m hosting!



Monday (Feb 17), VEEEM Pittsburgh (voter empowerment education and enrichment movement) is back with another voter education session! In preparation for this year’s presidential primary election, join the VEEM team for another community meeting at the University of Pittsburgh Engagement Center, Homewood campus, located at 622 N. Homewood Avenue at 6 PM. Light refreshments will be provided.
